Yuva Vikas Sanstha

The youth group initially formed as a college group in 1997. The group started performing social activities such as street plays, drama competitions, etc. Later on, the group members decided to register the group as a social organization. At present, 50 youths are working enthusiastically in the group as committed volunteers.

Youth

We develop youth through value education, career guidance, and employment programs. Our services include education, play facilities, and the promotion of active citizenship. We provide platforms for showcasing youth skills.

Children

We conduct projects for the development of marginalized children, addressing their social, physical, psychological, and educational needs. We organize value education programs and raise awareness about government schemes for children.

Women

We establish a legal aid center for women facing violence. Our programs nurture women's leadership skills. We initiate projects fostering financial independence, empowering them to become successful entrepreneurs.

Civil Issue

We address issues related to housing, roads, and healthcare. Our resolution center handles social needs. We empower rural areas and compile data to foster development, focusing on the economic and social upliftment of marginalized groups.

Children

To encourage the hidden qualities of children, we organize programs like ‘education thorough entertainment’

Women

For the development of women, we organize low-scale business guidance and street plays in Nalasopara and Vasai. Our center has donated sewing machines for self-employment.

Social Issues

We have conducted street plays on topics such as AIDS awareness, environmental awareness, and the development issues in Vasai and Virar. Over the last eight years, we have performed a total of 200 shows.

Publication

‘Jansangharsh’ is an annual magazine aimed at promoting social awareness, social development, and showcasing new talent. We have been publishing this magazine for the past five years, including articles on various topics.

In Bhuigoan since 1973, due to some uncertain reason, the government library was not in effect. We understood this thing, in August 2005, our co-workers had taken personal loan and started the library again. In library, we had kep t new and important literature for village people. In library till this date 276 members have enrolled their name. Out of which 113 children have enrolled their name for membership of library and 67 economically poor children have enrolled with nominal fees Rs.10
